Owner/ Lead Stylist
“Everyone has the potential to be beautiful with the right cut and color. It is a matter of selecting a stylist who is intuitive and has been trained to craft a hairstyle that expresses your personal style along with complimenting your lifestyle.” My hair tip? Use a t-shirt instead of a towel to sop up extra water in your hair. The thick, ridged cotton of a towel will only add extra frizz and friction to your already dry locks. Put the t-shirt on and then pull it over your head, wrapping it like a turban & knotting it around wet locks.
How to Style:
- Starting with freshly shampooed hair, apply a volumizing mousse to towel dried hair.
- Blow dry hair using a flat paddle brush. Blow dry hair upside down to create more volume.
- Create a side part and mist hair with a heat protectant.
- Once hair is dry, use a 1-inch curling iron to curl ends.
- Take small sections and wind hair around the curling iron to ear lobe level.
- In the bang area, curl hair to the arch of the eyebrow.

- Slide an outer section over the center section.
- Slide the other outer section over the new center section.
- Add more hair to each outer section and repeat steps 4 and 5.

- Secure braid with a clear elastic.
- Take a small section from the ends and wrap it around the elastic.
- Secure with a bobby pin.
- Finish style with a flexible hold hairspray.
Try prepping dry locks with Josie Maran’s Argan Oil. When you take your hair out of the braid, it will feel so soft and moisturized! - Allow curls to cool and gently finger comb through.
- Set curls with a flexible hold hairspray.
